We decided to go on a little adventure while Poppa and MiMi took care of the babies!

Geared up and ready to go!

This is 6 Mile Creek near the town of Hope.

 It sports Class IV and...

...CLASS V rapids!!!

We wore dry suits to keep from getting wet.

There was a swim test in the river before we left. Yep, we had to get in!

If this looks familiar...

Robert rafted with Johnny and Glenn last year.

Polliann was pregnant at that time, so this year she got to go!

Enjoying the break after some fun rapids

 Ramming a rock

These rapids were great, no time to think, just go!

War wounds from flying out of the raft - she was on another raft with our group

Safety raft ahead

Us with our guide and safety guy

This is the guy who would grab us if we fell in.

This was a blast!

The other raft of folks decided not to go through the third, Class V, canyon, but we went all the way!

Free at last

We got to float down the river toward the end of the trip. The water temperature was about 38 degrees!

End of the trip - we could have kept on going!

On our way home we spotted some Dall Sheep on the cliffs next to the highway.

They were not very difficult to find, because, as you can see, ...

We were not the first to find them.
