Extreme Snowcross in Anchorage...and it was extreme!

These guys were flying high!

More action...

Yeah, he's hanging off the side!

Polliann and I cross country skied for the first time this winter.

We spent lots of time on the ground. Downhill skiing is quite a bit different! It was like skiing again for the first time.

I wasn't the only one on the ground. We actually got a lot better after a day of skiing.

Here's Polliann riding on a dog sled with G.B. Jones. He raced in the Iditarod last year and this year. The sled that we rode on was his race sled from last year.

This was really cool and fun!

These dogs are so happy to pull someone!

One of our first snowfalls of the season.

Check out the ice skating rink, I mean ROAD, in Seward.

Skiing at Alyeska Ski Resort in Girdwood, just outside of Anchorage.

This is an awesome ski resort with lots of wide-open space and black diamonds.

The family enjoying the snow in our backyard.

Buddy liked gettin' thrown across the yard and landing face first in the snow!

Look at that beautiful boy! He looks like he belongs in the snow!
