| The boys and I took a hike up to the
top of Castle Rock. A fairly fun hike with about 200 ft elevation gain to
put us at 6600ft ASL. Here is Brody. |
| And Camden. |
| Together! |
| The boys took a short-cut up through
the trees and rocks. |
| Brody was not very happy that
he had to wait on us. |
| Self portrait and snack upon reaching
the top. |
| "This would make a cool clubhouse!" |
| Hiking down was a lot faster than
hiking up. |
| Then we went to a Denver Nuggets
game that night. Our friends Janessa and Nathan joined us. |
| We were pretty close to the floor. |
| Is this Daddy's boy? |
| The family in gold and blue. |
| For Mom's birthday, we took the
family to Miller Farms. This has been an active farm since the 1940s. And
as you can see, we ran into a few interesting sites: here is Tow Mater! |
| "Lightning McQueen" and "Doc"
in the background |
| The boys finally got to pick some
corn |
| and dig for potatoes! |
| The onions were the size of cantelopes. |
| We figured just one each would
be plenty. |
| The boys had lots to choose from. |
| Bugs Bunny would have loved this
place! |
| Camden trying to look like a snowman. |
| Brody driving a truck that reminded
me of PaPa's |
| Here we are trying to navigate the huge corn maze. |
| These were so cool. They were
like big bikes with ATV tires. |
| Brody and Camden waiting for the Great
Pumpkin |
| Camden in the pilot's seat for
the first time. |
| Mom's birthday cake |
| The boys had a blast picking off all
the kernels of the Indian Corn. |
| Well, Brody did. He would not
stop until the last kernel was in the bag. Cam left a long time ago to kick
the soccer ball. |
