| So we're at a park with the boys. And
this helicopter starts circling overhead - VERY LOW. We (Mary, mom, and
I) were wondering what in the heck was going on with this helicopter? |
| A guy runs right by us, while we're
on a pier on the lake, and unbeknowst to us, he's one of several suspects
in a drug deal gone bad who is fleeing police! Then into the park (through
the woods) come plain clothes and uniformed police officers on foot, some
with dogs. Next, police cars came flying into the parking lots. |
| All of the suspects were apprehended.
This was the scene outside of the park when we left. There were at least
15-20 police vehicles involved. You can see the suspects' red car in the
ditch on the left side of the picture. We found out that they crashed, then
fled through the woods into the park. THANKS MOM FOR AN EXCITING DAY AT
THE PARK! |
| The boys on the pier. |
| We stayed after the drama, since the
police said it was safe - probably a lot safer with dozens of officers surrounding
the park! |

| Brody snacking at Granny's |
| CamBam eatin' too |
| This foot was one funny fake appendage
- the boys just couldn't figure out how this foot was getting tossed around
the room! |
| Cam afraid to touch it! Check out that
look on his face. |
| Taylor kissing his beautiful chick!
| Brody tranformed into an old lady...is
this freaky or what?! |
| Mid-December and the boys were playing
with a new water toy from Uncle Johnny in his backyard |

one big bench! |
| Cam helpin' Granny rake leaves |
| Brody rakin' like he's done this before! |
| Of course, they did a lot more playing
than raking! They don't get to do this in Denver - with the 2 trees on the
Front Range! |
| Granny getting in on the action |
| Brody and Jason playin' around |
| They had lots of fun! |
| We visited Uncle Jason, Aunt Melissa
Cody, Courtney and Kylee in Jacksonville, FL. The boys had lots of fun jumping
around on their trampoline. |
| Brody, Cam, Courtney and Kylee |

| The DJ announced one of Justin's ex-girlfriends
was at the wedding to see him and Brody came walking out dressed in that
freaky mask with the gray wig and a little girl's dress! |
| Brody sleeping at Granny's |
| We spent some time at Aunt Rebecca and
Uncle David's with Maddy, Ethan and Adam. Here Maddy is playing with her
Baby Playset that we got her for Christmas. |
| Pink Caddy? They liked it! |
| Cam couldn't sleep, so I put a movie
in for him. |
| When I was a kid, we used to eat oatmeal
cookies from Byrd Cookie Company, which was founded in Savannah in 1924.
Granny thought it would be fun for the boys to see them making cookies and
I had to get them some oatmeal cookies to try. |
| They were winners! |
| Brody playing around in the mall. |
| Cam here standing on an octopus |
| Another pink vehicle? |
| Granny treated them to these cars rides...more
fun with Granny. |
| "Daddy, make sure you read the
emergecy procedures." |
| He was serious! |
| Brody was doing the fun thing - checking
out the Sky Mall magazine on the way home. |
