| At the Waterfront in Seattle |
 |
| We took a tour of Underground Seattle
- something we never did when we lived in Washington for 2 years! While
you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and
first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, a tour guide regales you
with humorous stories our pioneers didnt want you to hear. Its
history with a twist! |
 |
| The tour begins with a seated introduction
inside Doc Maynards Public House, a restored 1890s saloon. Then you
walk outside through historic Pioneer Square to three different sections
of Undergroundabout three blocks in all. |
 |
| Dion came up from Kennewick to spend
some time with us. He's a good friend that we met when we lived in Washington.
We hadn't seen Dion in over 2 years. As always, we had a great time with
him. |
