At the Waterfront in Seattle

We took a tour of Underground Seattle - something we never did when we lived in Washington for 2 years! While you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, a tour guide regales you with humorous stories our pioneers didn’t want you to hear. It’s history with a twist!

The tour begins with a seated introduction inside Doc Maynard’s Public House, a restored 1890s saloon. Then you walk outside through historic Pioneer Square to three different sections of Underground—about three blocks in all.

Dion came up from Kennewick to spend some time with us. He's a good friend that we met when we lived in Washington. We hadn't seen Dion in over 2 years. As always, we had a great time with him.
