Colorado has 6 of the top 10 ski resorts in North America. Vail is ranked No. 2 by Ski Magazine. In order to get to the slopes, you have to walk through Vail Village. Here I am standing next to a bridge heading into Vail Village.

First day skiing since Alaska didn't stop us from hittin' black diamonds!

Here's one we just came down.

This place is HUGE. It is the largest ski resort in the U.S. with 5,289 acres of freeride terrain.

We stood here last summer with the boys, feeding birds crackers just a few hundred feet to the west with green grass, sunny skies and warm temps!

This expansion is gorgeous. Behind us is an ice skating rink.
