Mt. Drum and Mt. Sanford from Copper Center

The Copper Center Princess Lodge

This is one way of subsistence fishing: These fish wheels turn and scoop the salmon as they swim through the water.

This is Worthington Glacier

Robert's getting mighty close!

It is amazing how much water drains from the glaciers!

Okay, so I got a little close too! The color is so vibrant!

We saw a little bit more of this HUGE National Park!

More of the beautiful mountains

Now this is some highway scenery, don't ya think? This is Mt. Drum.

This is Horsetail Falls just outside of Valdez in Thompson Pass. This drive is noted to be one of the most scenic in Alaska.

Well, we've seen a lot of the Alaska Pipeline. This is the terminus.

Stage set for the "Boomtown Show" in Valdez!

Literally thousands, if not millions, of salmon everywhere "returning home" to Solomon Hatchery in Valdez.

This is a tunnel that was started a hundred years ago (never finished) when Valdez was competing to be the port for copper transportation from Alaska to the Lower 48. Cordova was selected instead.
